Kathrein is committed to environmental and climate protection
Sustainability is more present than ever. And that is very important. Because the effects of the climate crisis have an enormous impact on human health and wellbeing. At Kathrein, we are convinced that responsible business practices contribute to a better quality of life and future for generations to come. That is why we started our first sustainable investments back in 2012. Today, we have already invested around 48 percent of the total fund volume according to the sustainability approach.
But we are not just concerned with our sustainable investment. Sustainability and Diversity are firmly anchored in Kathrein's corporate philosophy. That is why we are also implementing numerous measures to become even more sustainable as a company. All our activities are managed by a specially appointed, permanent working group.
Environment
We at Kathrein live sustainability out of conviction, which is why ecological responsibility starts with us in-house. We have defined clear measures and targets for all areas where we can make a contribution to environmental and climate protection.
Kathrein strives to keep its environmental impact as low as possible. Therefore, we are constantly working on improving our sustainability standards and most important to us is the improvement of our ecological control parameters in relevant areas.
Social
Social commitment has the highest priority in our company and is thus an important part of our social responsibility. The health and satisfaction of our employees is particularly important to us. Therefore, we provide numerous offers ranging from health to further training. A special focus is diversity; we have employees from 12 nations in the company, and we are also committed to women in the financial sector.
Corporate Governance
Kathrein attaches great importance to responsible, transparent corporate governance geared to long-term value enhancement. The Executive Board and the Supervisory Board are regularly informed about compliance matters by the Compliance Officer. Openness and transparency are extremely important to us, especially in communication with our stakeholders.
