On November 20, 2018, GELD Magazin hosted the 18th Dachfonds Awards Austria in the ceremonial hall of the Haus der Industrie in Vienna. Of 399 funds of funds, the best in each category were recognized with awards.
As previously, Kathrein Privatbank Aktiengesellschaft asset managing funds of funds were able to repeat their wins in several categories.
With a total of five awards, Kathrein was once again one of the big winners of the evening!
Kathrein Mandatum 50:
1st place: Mixed fund of funds balanced - conservative, 5 years
NDR Active Allocation - Kathrein Fund:
1st place: Mixed fund of funds flexible - balanced, 1 year 1st place: Mixed fund of funds flexible - balanced, 3 years
Kathrein Mandatum 70:
2nd place: Mixed fund of funds equity-focused - conservative, 5 years
Kathrein Mandatum 100:
3rd place: Equity fund of funds - conservative, 5 years
The Kathrein asset managing funds of funds have been managed successfully for a number of years by Patrick Sabo, B.A. and Mag. Florian Mayer, CFA, CQF.

After snagging four awards at the Dachfonds Awards Austria in 2016 and topping that performance with seven wins in 2017, we were able to continue our success thanks to our convincing steady performance.
The total of five Dachfonds Awards were won in various categories, from the conservative and balanced funds of funds to the equity funds of funds of the Kathrein Mandatum series. The flexible NDR Active Allocation - Kathrein Fund also received multiple recognitions. The NDR Active Allocation is the first and only fund thus far in Europe that has been launched in collaboration with Ned Davis Research (NDR), has the right to use the brand name "NDR", and is based on the research results of NDR.
